RETURNS/EXCHANGES

Like any store that offers custom items, we DO NOT accept returns due to the extreme personalization given to each item (there are some instances where a return may be required by AMG).

There will also be no exchanges unless falling under the stipulations of a "remake" or "replacement" (read below for details pertaining to that).

REMAKE - REUSE OF HARDWARE

A discount off an item can be offered if reusing the collar/leash hardware of a current product (no designated time frame of use). (Discount is off the standard collar price and does not include any additions.)

This would be the same buckle/style/width/etc to the existing collar or the same snap to the existing leash. 

Changes can include any webbing color/thread color/text/font/size/etc. It does not need to be a copy of the original collar/leash. 

The customer would be responsible for any shipping fees in this instance. Only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferrable. 

AMG is not responsible for shipping, handling, and other additional charges for returned items.

Please download and complete the RETURN FORM and include it with your item/s.

Once item/s are received, the contact information above will be used to notify and/or further discuss remake details.

REPLACEMENTS DUE TO DAMAGED OR INCORRECT ITEMS

If the product is damaged in any way upon receiving it, contact us immediately, however, AMG is not responsible for normal wear and tear on collars, leashes, harnesses including but not limited to scratches/wear on hardware, material being chewed on, etc. 

Collar, leash, and harness safety is the responsibility of the owner.  All AMG products are made with quality materials but no item is indestructible.

If there is a mistake with your order due to an error I have made, I will remedy it as per the entered order details asap at no additional shipping costs to you. 

Contact AMG via info@angrymelongear.com within 7 days of delivery and provide the order number, details of the issues, and photos.  

If required, please download and complete the RETURN FORM and include it with your item/s. Items must in their original condition: clean and unused. Items not in this condition will not be accepted. If a return is required, replacements will not be started until the returned item is sent back. 

Once item/s are received, the contact information included will be used to notify and/or further discuss replacement details if needed.

REPAIRS/ALTERATIONS

The cost of repairs or alterations may vary based on the type of service required, the complexity of the issue, and the necessary replacement parts.

For items that fall outside the warranty, customers will be responsible for covering the shipping costs associated with sending the item back and for the return shipment.

If required, please download and complete the RETURN FORM and include it with your item/s.

REFUNDS

AMG gear is non-refundable due to the customization of each and every item.

Custom digitized images, custom requested images, all Premades, Herm Sprenger products, E-Collar Technologies products, and Gift Cards/Certificates are non-refundable. 

Cancelations would be applicable for refunds if requested before orders begin production or if orders cannot be completed where customer communication cannot be established (see below for further details). 

CANCELLATIONS 

Cancellations can be made on a case-by-case basis as long as they are not in production or in pre-shipment.

They would, however, be subject to a 10% cancellation fee (total order price) OR for a full exchange for store credit (in the form of a gift card).  

Holiday seasons may have a change in some policy structures.  Read more here if ordered during the Holiday Season.

COMMUNICATIONS

Messages and emails are not typically answered over weekends and holidays and typically will not be answered until the next 1-3 business days.

If there is a question/issue/etc regarding your order, you will be contacted via email (the one used to place the order). You will be contacted regarding your order as soon as possible (usually when it is getting ready for the prepping stage). 

Please respond as soon as possible to prevent any delays in making your item/s. 

If no response is received, you will continue to be messaged until there is communication established. During this waiting time, your entire order will be considered ’on hold’ and delayed.

If it reaches 2 months since the order date, or 1 month since last established contact:
(a) If there are multiple items in your order (that equate to more than one finished product)
the item/s in question will be removed from the order and refunded (if applicable). The remaining items in your order will be completed and shipped out accordingly.
(b) If there is only that singular item in your order (or items that would equate to one finished product)

your entire order will be canceled and subject to the 10% cancelation fee (total order price) mentioned above.

I do not make phone calls or text. 

ALTERATIONS AND CHANGES

You are responsible for entering the all correct text/spelling/colors/size/etc.

Any mistakes/changes noticed must be brought to my attention ASAP in order to be made correctly. Any changes requested after the order has begun production will accrue a ‘remake’ fee such as mentioned above. 

RETURN SHIPPING

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning an item in the instance that it will be used for a Remake, Alteration, or Repair (for items outside their warranty). Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your returned product to reach us so a tracking number is recommended.

If you are shipping an item over $50, I suggest using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. I can't guarantee that I will receive your returned item without proof of delivery.

SHIPPING ERRORS AND CARRIER RETURNS

Angry Melon Gear will not refund misplaced, lost or stolen packages.  You must contact the courier directly for any questions about delivery.  We have the same tracking information that you see in the tracking link.

You are responsible for the shipping fees for re-shipment of packages USPS marks as "return to sender" that I get back. 

Please double-check that the shipping address is entered correctly at checkout/on your email confirmation. The address is automatically plugged in exactly as you have typed it in when I create the shipping label for your order. 

IMAGES

AMG reserves the right to sell all designs I have digitized, excluding logos or if there is an agreement made before the order is placed. 

INTERNATIONAL FEES

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. I can't estimate the amount of these fees since they vary from country to country.

Angry Melon Gear has no control over these charges and is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

For more information, I suggest you visit the Customs authorities in your place of residence or their website. 

Packing slips for international shipments cannot be marked as a "gift" or with altered prices.

If the package is refused by the customer or returned due to customs issues it may be subject to a refusal fee. This cost will be deducted from the total cost of the refund.

International Customers - it is your responsibility to figure out if training collars such as the Herm Sprenger collars and E-Collar Technologies collars can be imported to your country.

Please also be aware of items that are illegal in your country as we cannot refund if the product is taken by customs.

SALES TAX

Sales tax is calculated according to Federal and State guidelines. It is based on the shipping address and the appropriate rules for that tax jurisdiction.

Sales tax is collected only in the state of 'Texas', and the rates may vary according to the jurisdiction you are in.

COUPON CODES 

To redeem coupon codes, they must be entered prior to purchase. 

Coupon codes are not valid toward previous purchases, nor can they be applied once an order has already been placed. 

They cannot be combined with any other coupons, discounts, offers, or promotions. 

Sale items, gift cards/certificates, Herm Sprenger products, and images (custom requested, readily available, and custom digitizing images) are not subject to discounts. 

TRAINING TOOLS 

AMG is open to all training methods and tools. 

You don’t have to use all tools or methods but you do have to treat those that do (owners, handlers, and businesses) respectfully. 

Any negative or otherwise derogatory comments or accusations will be removed from any AMG pages. 

We do not condone the misuse or abuse of animals. This collar is not intended to inflict pain or harm to your dog. Please consult with a licensed dog trainer if you are new to this type of training tool. 

Responsible ownership is YOUR Responsibility! 

Please check to see if those collars are legal to import in your state/country, before purchasing!

COLOR DISCLAIMER

Many variables go into webbing/thread colors. 

Finished Products

  • The same color may appear drastically different depending on the background color that accompanies it as well as the item’s setting and surrounding context (including but not limited to neighboring colors, lighting conditions, size, etc).
  • Webbing color and dye lots can vary. Color shades may vary within the same color. Our mills may change the color or shade without notice.
  • Embroidered items receive a cleaning and pre-soak before shipments. Some colors could bleed onto white or some light color embroidery threads.
    • The "hot" colors are known to have a lot of bleed to them. Some of the others can as well depending on the manufacturers dye lots but those are less frequent than with the "hot" webbing colors. 
  • Metallic and glittery threads aren't as durable as the standard thread colors therefore I would only recommend those for dogs that are gentle on their collars, only special occasions, certain events, etc.
    • Keep collars with these threads away from chemicals, sun, and friction as much as possible to preserve their life. 

Digital Proofs

  • Digital images do not factor in things like the textures of the different materials which may slightly differ from the colors they are representing going from digitally vs real life. 
  • Metallics and glittery threads cannot be represented in their real life states but instead would be represented by the closest solid color. 
  • Multicolor/Blended and Confetti threads also cannot be represented in proof form. 

Photography

  • While I do my very best to represent colors accurately, photography isn’t an exact science, therefore colors may be slightly different in person when the setting and context changes. 

Please take this into consideration when placing your order.
