If ordering more than one X-Back, please specify which harness you would like the mod to be included on.
Keep the flexibility of utilizing the harness as a regular x-back harness with the standard hookup, or attach a line to either side of the harness at the side rings to utilize the harness similar to a wheel dog harness or carting harness.
Wheel dog harnesses allow for more uses when there is a pulling point that is lower than the dog's back.
If adding the wheel dog mod, we suggest utilizing the split chest option if possible for your dog

This Mod is perfect for activities such as kick sledding, tire training, carting, etc.
**NOT to be used for HEAVY weight pull**
Heavy weight pulling would still require an actual proper fitting weight pull harness.
When attaching a line to the side rings of the harness:
- if using a splitter line, the line should be long enough to freely pass the entire length of the dog, or
- if using two lines, (also called traces) be sure they are not too long which could cause the dog to trip or get tangled in other equipment.
When leaning into the harness, the weight being pulled is transferred through to the neck and chest area of the dog and takes pressure off of the hips. Relieving pressure off the dog without sacrificing pulling power.
